But Samson was practically invincible, so she felt like she couldn't truly betray him. He would just win against the attackers. But the betrayal was felt emotionally, and that's why he finally told her his true weakness. Remember, she didn't necessarily know he was telling the truth. He'd lied before. It was his anguish with her that led him to make that desperate move.
